Thoughts about 2012

I've been feeling more and more, watching the in fighting and lack of leadership within the republican party, that President Obama may end up with two terms. Most people aren't seeing clear leadership from either side. Independents will not vote one out without having a clear vision from the other side. Many independents feel that the evil we know is better than the evil we do not know. So unless there is a divine intervention President Barak Obama will be heading into his second term.

However I have also felt since the begining that God has a plan for him. He will see for himself that his policies aren't working and turn to God in despair. He will become a great man and leader. I'm not a prophet, but this has been more than a desire. It's been an urge and prayer. It impresses me the same as it did on the day I was moved on to pray for Michael Jackson out of the blue, then a week later he was announced dead.

I have that same feeling regarding this presidential race. There will be things that happen this next year that will turn the world upside down. Some good and some bad. The people of Faith will always come out ahead! Here are some thoughts about 2012 from two people I pay attention to:

Kenneth Copeland prophesied about 2012:

"What about 2012? 2012 is a year full of surprises! Some surprises are going to shake people up. Some surprises are going to shake people down. But for those who are listening to My Voice (God's Voice), those who have made themselves available to My Spirit and to My Word, you'll have surprises... oh not like the world and not like many carnal minded Christians... Your surprises will come as "Suddenlies". Like in My Word when it says "...and suddenly there came upon them..." And you'll stand up with a big smile on your face and say "I just got a suddenly didn't I?" Oh yes, but it will not take you by surprise because I said in My Word I'd show you things to come, I said in My Word what I speak the Holy Ghost will hear and He will speak it to you and there are those of you that are seeking My Voice and seeking My Word and seeking My Name and looking at Me and My Face while I'm looking at you in your face and together we'll walk in this and together we'll walk through this and they'll come a time when you'll just smile at me and I'll just smile at you and you'll say "Ha Ha Ha I knew that all the time! Praise God! My Father showed me that was comin' and I was all prepared and it didn't come on me as a suddenly. But this other surprise that came on me oh what joy, oh what thrill, oh what goodness, I wonder what else my Father has in store for me?!"... Then I looked to see what Kim Clement had been saying about it. And this is what I found...

Kim Clement:

"DISCUSSING HOW HE MET ELLIS SMITH, AND PROPHESIED ABOUT AN AFRICAN-AMERICAN PRESIDENT

I believe at that time, I was picking up about an African-American president.  That’s what I was picking up, because you drew that out of me, and even though people have their own ideas about this present president, I want you to know there’s an African-American president coming again – again. I hate to say this – this is the Spirit of the Lord on me, I have to do it.  The Lord said to me when He took me to Memphis, and I was in a big church there (it was an African-American church), when I was in this church, the Lord said this to me.  Because I prophesied Obama, that he would be the president, twice.  It was very difficult for me – not that he was a black man; in fact, I was overjoyed about it.  It was because of his beliefs.  But the Lord said this to me; He said, first of all, I’m going to teach America a lesson.  They’ll never vote like this again.  Secondly, I do not want him to misrepresent his race and his people.  I know he’s an American, but he’s an African-American.  So God – He said this to me:  He will not leave in shame, and if he does, I will raise up another one, a righteous one, who will bring honor to the African-American people in the United States of America, as a president."

Should be and interesting year...Darrell G. Wolfe

God Can't Lie! We are BLESSED to be a BLESSING!

EMIC - Wed Morning Men's Meeting - 11/16/2011

FYI: No meeting on the second week in December, 12/21/2011.

FYI: Men, Notes may be a bit disjointed. I captured the scritpures we talked about, but didn't get as many quotes as usual.

God Doesn't Lie!
Numbers 23:19
19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

God Cannot Lie!
Titus 1:2
2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,

It is IMPOSSIBLE for God to Lie!
Hebrews 6:18
18 that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us.

So to recap what we just read: GOD Doesn't Lie, Cannot Lie, it is IMPOSSIBLE for God to Lie!

Not only is it impossible to lie but if you read further into the story of Balaam and Balak you discover that even the prophet that had abandoned God's Word for monetary gain couldn't put forth a prophetic declaration against God's people when they were under the blessing. God won't even let someone else Lie for him! He'll expose it one way or another. He send a talking Donkey to stop that attack!

BLESSING I will BLESS you. Abraham was BLESSED by God. THE BLESSING is the action. THE BLESSING creates work/assignment. Abraham experienced THE BLESSING and became wealthy almost dispite himself. He was under God's hand and wealth came to him. When God speaks THE BLESSING is introduced. That is the anchor for our souls! One word from God changes everything.

THE BLESSING is the hope which anchors us. If we become BLESSING minded there is no problem to big, no enemy to strong, nothing we cannot do!

"Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity."
(NKJV reads "walk in wisdom")

A word from God, through Steve, for the group:

"Every day I bring opportunities to display my power and glory in order to bless you, so you can bless others. Keep your eyes upon me and hear my voice and I will lead you in the right path - put you in the right position. My Spirit was given to help you succeed, to teach and instruct you in my ways. Heed His voice and leading. I will make you successful in the financial realm, the business realm, the medical realm, the spiritual realm, whatever realm I have called you to and assigned you in. Walk with me and you WILL walk in wisdom, for I AM wisdom. Quit looking at the problem - listen and watch for the solution!"

I appreciate each of you and appreciate everyone sharing what's on their heart - Iron truly sharpens Iron. SW

Someone said: Opportunity meets Preparation

A theme of today: Read a little further. Every time a verse is quoted something powerful is just beyond it and fitting for us today.

Not works, but purpose. My assignment IS my ministry. Your assignment is your ministry. It's almost as though the five fold ministry gifts (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher) are the only ones NOT ministering. Instead, they teach and train US for the work of the ministry in the market places and streets. They do minister, but their job is to train us to do so in our sphere of influence. Church is the classroom/training center. The real ministry should be taking place outside the church walls.

Other Scripture that was brought up:

2 Timothy 1:7-9
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 8 So you must never be ashamed to tell others about our Lord. And don't be ashamed of me, either, even though I'm in prison for Christ. With the strength God gives you, be ready to suffer with me for the proclamation of the Good News. 9 It is God who saved us and chose us to live a holy life. He did this not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan long before the world began -- to show his love and kindness to us through Christ Jesus.

Numbers 23:21
18 Then he took up his oracle and said: "Rise up, Balak, and hear! Listen to me, son of Zippor! 19 "God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? 20 Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it. 21 "He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, Nor has He seen wickedness in Israel. The Lord his God is with him, And the shout of a King is among them. 22 God brings them out of Egypt; He has strength like a wild ox.

Isaiah 61:4-9
4 And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations. 5 Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, And the sons of the foreigner Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. 6 But you shall be named the priests of the Lord, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast. 7 Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs. 8 "For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery for burnt offering; I will direct their work in truth, And will make with them an everlasting covenant. 9 Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles, And their offspring among the people. All who see them shall acknowledge them, That they are the posterity whom the Lord has blessed."

2 Peter 2:15-16
15 They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man's voice restrained the madness of the prophet.

Humble yourself to prosper

COME:
1 Peter 5
6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

HEAR:
Pride says: I can do this on my own. The definition of humble is not about getting rid of things, being poor, putting yourself down, saying "I'm not worthy...", or any other such non sense. The definition of humble is acknowledging that you are not God, and rolling the care of your life over onto Him. You do your part. Let Him do His.

For most of us this plays out silently and secretly. We say we love God, we go to church, we sing songs. We simply ignore Him Monday through Saturday. Or, we do pray daily, read the Word daily, but our prayer is one sided. It comes out like a request list or a check list of things to say to God.

The trick with this kind of humility is that we must get before God, openly and honestly. Have a two way dialogue about situations.

"Father, I need______Tires (or fill in the blank)____. You meet all my needs according to your riches. You give me all things to richly enjoy. So how would you have me believe you for this need?"

Then stop and listen, pray in tongues, it may take more than 5 minute. You may have to pray quietly about this for the rest of the day or even two or three days. The point is that you don't move on this need until he tells you something. If the need is immediate he may give you a temp fix answer and a more permanent answer sometimes too. His Mercy is new every morning.

What this does is build confidence into your answer. You could flip to your favorite provision scripture and make confessions over the issue. This will have some effect. But unless you got the Holy Spirit involved and got HIS take on the situation you won't have the confidence behind your confession. You'll be saying it, but not feeling any power of belief behind it.

Faith is trust. Faith is confidence. Confidence in what? Confidence that God's Word is true. If I say that I'll be at your house Friday morning to pick you up, you have three responses. "I believe him." or "I guess we'll see what he does?" or "I doubt it." Each response is based on a level of confidence in my word. The confidence will be based on how long you've known me and my character. If you've known me for ten years but always known me to be a flake, than you will see my word as "We'll see" or "I doubt it". If you've known me for a month, but seen me faithful and diligent at work each day than you could respond "I believe him." Your confidence will be based on what I said, and how you've experience me so far.

Therefore unless you get God's word on the situation you won't know what to have confidence in. Many people have pulled scriptures at random and gotten no results. You must see the situation from God's perspective. Two similar situations could have different roots. You must ask God, who sees the roots, what He would have you do about the situation. Only then, can you have the confidence to see it through to completion.

DO:
I'm going to take more time to follow this advice. Pray about a situation until I have an answer. Then I will have the confidence to follow through with that answer.

PRAYER:
"Father, I need______Tires (or fill in the blank)____. You meet all my needs according to your riches. You give me all things to richly enjoy. So how would you have me believe you for this need?"

Invitation to Apply... The Blood

COME:
1 Peter 4
6 For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.

HEAR:
Jesus preached the Gospel to all those in Hades and in Abraham's Bosom before ascending from the dead to greet Mary at the tomb. I have become fully convinced, as I learn both the Mercy/Grace side of God and the Justice/Judgement side of God,  that there is not one human on earth past or present from Adam to the final man/woman/child that will spend an eternity separated from God without having a chance to accept His gift.

There are many who will become so hardened through life that they will reject it, which makes our influence in the World SO MUCH more important. However God is not sending people to hell because the post office lost/miss-delivered His invitation in the mail.

Everyone on earth has been forgiven of sin. You are not in need of forgiveness you have it. You've had it since before the foundation of the world. What you are in need of is the application of the blood to your life. If you fail to apply the blood, even though it's been provided, your house is not protected. That applies to this life and the life to come. You are in need of knowing about the forgiveness that was purchased and accept it.

The offer is a trade. You trade your life for His. He takes your sin and you take His righteousness.

It has been proved out over and over that seeing is not believing. Many people see "Evidence" and believe it when it was made up or false. Others see evidence of something true and choose not to believe. Just because you see something doesn't mean you will believe it. Just because something is offered doesn't mean you will accept it.

I know of a man who was offered birthday presents every year by his son. One year, he returned them all, years worth, unopened. He had taken them... but not received them. You can know about Jesus, without accepting Him. You can preach Him, but not KNOW Him.

Contrarily, you can NOT know of Him, but be introduced to him and accept. Paul prayed a SHORT salvation prayer... "LORD, what do you want me to do?!". I don't know how many times I've heard of near death experiences, but one bears mentioning here.

A young lady was living in sin, she'd heard of Jesus in a cursory manner like most Americans, but was not church-ed. She was living in sin, drugs, etc. She was stabbed one night by a man who just wanted to use her. As she lay there on the ground she suddenly felt light. She stood up and looked down to see her body laying there. She was fully aware of everything around her. It was just as though she wasn't dead but the pain was gone. A door opened up in front of her and a bright light streamed in. Jesus stepped through the door and began to talk with her. He told her about His blood and her choice. She chose Him. He then gave her the choice of coming back to heaven with Him or staying on earth to complete His real calling for her. She chose to stay. Since then she has had a ministry of healing and bringing deliverance to hospitals and churches to the sick and dying.

What happened here? We failed to reach that young woman, so Jesus stepped in and did it. He will NOT let anyone go without the choice. He said he'd leave the 99 and go out to get the 1. He does it time and again. But we, the church, could have reached her before that stabbing. I know, because I know His heart, that people were called to reach out before and didn't.

DO:
I must begin to work on having HIS heart for people and loving with HIS love. Seeing people for who they are in Him. Praying for them actively, not passively. Asking the Holy Spirit, how can I assist you today, in this situation?

PRAYER:
Father, make me more like you. Show me, day by day, how to walk out YOUR love for people. Starting at home.

Ephesians 2:13-21 (New King James Version)
13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. 19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone, 21 in whom the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,

Colossians 1:19-21 (New King James Version)
19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. 21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled

2 Corinthians 5:18-20 (New King James Version)
18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.

Exodus 12:22 NAS
"You shall take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood which is in the basin, and apply some of the blood that is in the basin to the lintel and the two doorposts ; and none of you shall go outside the door of his house until morning.

Revelation 13:8 NKJV
All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Submit and Resist

Continuation of: Hearing God... Defeating Doubt
Monday 11/07/2011

COME:
James 4
7 Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. 8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

HEAR:
So often we don't submit to God or resist the devil. We placate... we call sin: My Problem, My Issue, My Struggle, My This, My That...

Well first of all, we own and associate with the sin by calling it "MY" anything. Rather than acknowledge a stray thought as a seed of the devil to cause you to enter into sin, we acknowledge the thought as "OURS" and then call it "MY STRUGGLE". By doing this we lay claim to something that wasn't ours to begin with. Thoughts do not indicate sin. Thoughts are thoughts. We are to take our thoughts captive and bring them into submission to the Anointing of the Anointed One. Thoughts that turn to pondering and purposeful imagination, that is a different matter. Jesus said that anyone who looked... in order to... sinned in their heart. Any thoughts that turn into intent to think are a sin when they think on things that are not of God. But that is the point here. People allow themselves to fall victim to this by thinking that the first thoughts are sin. By doing this they then give in to the other thoughts because they feel they've already sinned.

So often people don't live in victory over things because they feel that because a thought passed through their mind, it must be theirs, and therefore they sinned. They then feel guilty. Thus they pull away from God. Thus they become more isolated. I've gone through that struggle more than once over the years. I am reminded yet again today that thoughts are subject to my will through the Word of God. I am not subject to my thoughts. Defeat, lack, sin, fear... they have no place in me.

I believe it was Kenneth Hagin who said: "You cannot prevent birds from flying over head, but you can prevent them from making a nest in your hair."

So it is with thoughts. You cannot prevent every stray thought from crossing your mind. There are seeds of sin everywhere you look and live. Even in a monastery there are thoughts creeping in hallways. Ask the catholic church how that's been going for them in the media the past few years.

Kenneth Copeland has said: "If you sin, run to God not away from Him. Your sin is non of the devils business." Jesus paid to clear you of that mess. Come to Him, get clean, and walk away free!"

Submit to God and resist the devil. You cannot resist the devil and he will not flee until you have fully submitted to God. That may be big on big things like not doing or watching certain activities. Or it may be in small things. Like going to bed on time, so that you are rested, less irritable, and better prepared to listen and heed the Holy Spirit.

In James 1-3 we saw that being double minded creates instability. Here again we see this phrase. Don't be double minded. How does one purify their hearts? What does that mean? We can see that a pure heart is not a double minded heart. So doubt is an indication of an impure heart. What is the solution to Doubt, Double Minded, and Impure Heart?

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Drawing near to God. Not just reading His Words, while half asleep to check that activity off your list. Pray, meditate, ponder, study, speak to God in His Unknown Tongue... then give Him time to bring the interpretation to your mind and heart. Some interpretations may come instantly, some may take days, weeks, years... Pray in the Spirit and allow God to lead. As you do HE will search the deep places of your hearts and clean out the dark corners. Deep calls out to deep. (See Study).

Jeremiah 29:13 NKJVAnd you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
Psalm 139:23 NKJVSearch me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties;

By spending time in God's Presence you become like Him. It's automatic. You don't have to try. Being with anyone makes you more like them. Married couples find this to be true. After many years they can anticipate the other persons thoughts or actions. They are familiar with them. They are two personalities but they are one. Become One with God the Father. Jesus asked for this in his prayer over you.

My two boys often do things just like I do. Why? Is it JUST the time I spend with them? No. They are paying attention to me. Watching me intently. They mean to be like me. They purpose to do so. They want to imitate me.
DO:
Watch and pray... what does that mean... watch out for the bad guys that are coming? That's not quite it. Watch the Father. Do what he does. Say what He says. Hear Him. Watch Him. Observe Him. Get His heart on life. Get His perspective on things. Spend time with your Father. Become just like Him.

PRAYER:
Father... help me to remember to spend more time with you in prayer and conversation. Not just in the morning or at night, but through constant communication, driving, during periods of mental break, while talking with others. I want to not anticipate my response while talking but rather hear YOUR response instead.

Hearing God... Defeating Doubt.

My mission, should I choose to accept it, is to observe... listen... in the Spirit. Do/Say nothing unless prompted by the Spirit. This is my Worship before God.

Doubt is confidence in the opposite result of your desired outcome. Doubt is defeated by hearing the voice of God and obeying it.

"How would you have me handle this and what would you have me believe for in this situation?"

James 1
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath;

22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

Joshua was told to meditate on the Word of God day and night, observe to do it, and they he'd make his own way prosperous and have good success. The same is being prescribed here. We must gaze, look intently, study, ponder, meditate, and observe closely as an artist the object they paint or a scientist their object of study...

Faith, Hope, Love... Faith is substance of Hope and the title deed to it's reality.

Jesse Duplantis says: If I don't see it, then I got it. And if I see it, I got it. If you don't see it yet, that's proof enough that I got it. Got it?

I must make the Word of God THE priority of my life. Yet...there are people who spend their lives in monasteries studying the bible and aren't any closer to the call and anointing of God or a profound relationship with Him than the day they started. It's not enough to study the bible with intense mental focus.

I must add to this an element of prayer that eludes so many of us. We pray FOR ourselves, people we know, needs, etc... But we must ask God for wisdom. As Solomon pleased God by asking not for things but wisdom so must I. Not just once, but daily.

1 Cor 14 speaks of speaking in Tongues not to men but to God in prayer. This type of prayer searches out the deep things and mysteries of God. Nancy Dufresne makes an interesting point here. The advent of Azusa Street which birthed the gift of Tongues back into wide use by the Church of God all over this world predated the MAJOR inventions of mankind. Until 1900 mankind basically worked the same principles, rode donkeys, etc. Some innovations had begun. But it was only after Azusa that that inventions and innovations soared. In less than 150 years we've gone from riding donkeys to sending men to the moon and now we check our Facebook pages from our iPhones.

Did all the people who invented things speak in tongues? No. But as the mysteries of God began to unfold into the world they needed an outlet. Anyone open to hear them benefited. Interpretation is not always direct. Many of the prayers of people seeking new ways to reach the lost were answered by this very technology. Although Steve Jobs didn't profess public acceptance of Jesus, he was nevertheless on God's payroll. God needed people like him to focus and get the job done. Since the Church so often resists change and progress God was forced to go outside. Just like He did when he went to fishermen to get the job done the first time around instead of the Synagogue. He couldn't find anyone at church willing to participate in His plan or Kingdom. I digress...

I must learn, again and again if need be, to be QUICK TO HEAR... SLOW to speak and to action. Wrath or Anger is a form of action. So a broader application of James 1 is not merely to not get angry... but in fact to be slow to any action or speaking. Jesus said: I do what I see my Father do, I say what I hear my Father say! Being quick to hear means making a habit and discipline of NOT speaking every time you have a thought and NOT commenting on every blog or comment thread you hear about or read! LOL.

Make a point of speaking in tongues on a REGULAR basis. Watching TV, driving the Car, working on the computer, etc... speak to God in His language, on His frequency as often as possible. This way you can keep the channel open for communication. Only speak when you hear Him speaking through you, only act what you see Him actin in you. This brings a new paradigm to prayer and Christian living.

If an attack comes against you or your family, don't just blurt out every scripture you can think of and yell at the Devil about 7 times this or 100 fold that... stop... listen... pray... praise God... Love on God... wait...

Wait on what? Ask one question and one question only it comes in two parts, but it's really one question. Then wait on His response. "How would you have me handle this and what would you have me believe for in this situation?" Watch and Pray that you enter not into temptation. What temptation? The temptation to do anything contrary to the will and plan of God for you. Ultimately the temptation to not walk in Love is the key temptation of all. Bridle your tongue and listen for the leading of the Holy Spirit.

Ask in faith not doubting. Doubt causes instability. Why is it so important to bridle the tongue? Because the tongue will either lead you into more doubt or more faith. A double minded man is unstable. To have two minds is unstable. If my wife asks if I can be in faith with her about something and I say I can be half in faith... that means I am half in doubt. This means I am unstable and will not be able to receive anything from God. Not that He isn't fully willing and able. I am simply unable to receive it. Doubt causes instability. So what is doubt? Doubt is believing in the opposite result from what you wanted to happen. If I cannot be in faith that God will bring an XYZ. This simply means that I believe He will not bring an XYZ. It's either or.

Rod Parsley has said: "You can't just read your bible you've got to READ your bible!"

You can't just read words and get God's direction for your life. You must pray and meditate those words until you hear God's specific instruction for your life. Do NOTHING without hearing the Voice of God on 1st.

You can't just do this in emergencies and expect to be successful. God told every person on 9-11 to stay away from the twin towers. Only those that listened to God got out. Some listened directly, some vaguely had an impression to stay home. Some ignored the impression. If God says to stay home from Work he's got a reason. Don't let pride, that you are always on time, kill you. Hearing God, in this day and age more than ever, is a life and death matter. People who read the word without hearing God are deceiving themselves.

You must be practiced at this. Doing it daily and moment by moment. Pray about which clothes to wear, what to eat, which route to take to work. Pray about everything you can think of to pray about. God is eagerly waiting to hear you seek him at that level. When you do, He will begin to open up the windows of heaven and show you great and mighty things you did not know.

My mission, should I choose to accept it, is to observe... listen... in the Spirit. Do/Say nothing unless prompted by the Spirit. This is my Worship before God.

James 1
1 James, a bondservant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, To the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad: Greetings. 2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. 9 Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation, 10 but the rich in his humiliation, because as a flower of the field he will pass away. 11 For no sooner has the sun risen with a burning heat than it withers the grass; its flower falls, and its beautiful appearance perishes. So the rich man also will fade away in his pursuits. 12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. 14 But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. 15 Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. 16 Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. 17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures. 19 So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; 20 for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. 21 Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. 23 For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; 24 for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. 25 But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. 26 If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one's religion is useless. 27 Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.

James 2
1 My brethren, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with partiality. 2 For if there should come into your assembly a man with gold rings, in fine apparel, and there should also come in a poor man in filthy clothes, 3 and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say to him, "You sit here in a good place," and say to the poor man, "You stand there," or, "Sit here at my footstool," 4 have you not shown partiality among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts? 5 Listen, my beloved brethren: Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him? 6 But you have dishonored the poor man. Do not the rich oppress you and drag you into the courts? 7 Do they not blaspheme that noble name by which you are called? 8 If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well; 9 but if you show partiality, you commit sin, and are convicted by the law as transgressors. 10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For He who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder." Now if you do not commit adultery, but you do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak and so do as those who will be judged by the law of liberty. 13 For judgment is without mercy to the one who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment. 14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, "Depart in peace, be warmed and filled," but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. 18 But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe--and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? 22 Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? 23 And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness." And he was called the friend of God. 24 You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. 25 Likewise, was not Rahab the harlot also justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

James 3
1 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. 2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Indeed, we put bits in horses' mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. 4 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. 8 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? 12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh. 13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
